Academic Brilliance Shines as JSES Team emerges as 2nd Runner-up in the Division Mathematics Quiz Bee Contest
In a stunning display of academic prowess, groups of JSES learners from grade 1 to grade 6 showcased their exceptional mathematical skills in the highly competitive quiz bee contest. The event, held at the prestigious P. Zamora Elementary School on June 16-17, 2023, brought together the brightest young minds from the division of Pasay city schools, all vying for the coveted title of quiz bee champions.
Amber Danielle Delos Santos from Grade 1 took the 1st place in both individual and team category with her team mate, Kleon Red O. Mojica. Their trainer is Zenaida Orillaza, Master Teacher II of Grade 1 level.
Grade 5 learners, Athena Zariell G. Española and Darren Larido also made it to 2nd place in the Team Category. They were also 8th place in the individual category. Their trainer is Renato C. Camu Jr., teacher of grade 5 level.
Grade 2 was 5th place in the team category and 7th place in the individual category. Grade 3 was 4th and 3rd respectively. Grade 6 was 3rd and 4th respectively. Grade 4 was 13th in the team category.
JSES was awarded 2nd runner-up overall in the division wide competion.
This is the first time the Division Math Competition has been held face to face after the pandemic.
