Smiles are seen in these pupils while having their handwashing activities as part of the “Wash in School” (WinS) program of the school. This program aims to develop in the pupils the proper hygiene practice which is done through handwashing activities in different locations of the washing areas of the school. The program is coordinated by Mrs. Rizza A. De Guzman, Grade 5 teacher and Mr. Lloyd Christian Sy, the school nurse to ensure proper hygiene is well practiced.
Deped WinS program under the memo DepEd Order No. 10 series of 2016 which is titled Policy and Guidelines for the Comprehensive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Schools (WinS) Program. JSES conducts monitoring of the said activity three times a week.
