Conducted by the Department of Health (DOH), the school-based immunization has been successfully done at Juan Sumulong Elementary School last Wednesday, July 31, 2019. The said activity started in the morning until afternoon to accommodate the AM and PM classes. Personnel from the DOH and School nurse, Lloyd Christian Sy and school team coordinated the event to ensure the smooth flow of the event.

The said school-based immunization of DOH aims to reach more children especially with the increasing number of enrollees. Also, the vaccine was intended for children to have greater protection against measles.
